I am a breastfeeding, co-sleeping, vaccination-questioning, non-circumcising, attached stay-at-home mother of two children ages 5.5 and 1.5. We are an unschooling family and choose to support our children as they learn in freedom. My husband Trevor and I have recently moved here to Maine from Arizona to be closer to family while the kids are little. We bought a 200 year old farm house and are planning on working the land some and spending as much time together as a family, as possible. Some of our current projects include; reviving an old apple orchard, planting/fencing a 60x60 garden, improving a sugarbush for maple syrup, renovating parts of the house and planning a chicken house.I love to do anything crafty; garden, sew and love to cook. When I have the time I love to paint but it may be a few more toddler years before I have the chance, again. I read voraciously and lately am picking up mostly non-fiction, although I love fiction/essays/poetry, too. I enjoy being out in the garden and growing food organically and look forward to canning/freezing aplenty, this fall. I am friendly, shy, social, sarcastic, witty and introspective.
